Focusing on "high precision, high stability, and controllable polarization"
The VLFL-PM series fiber lasers use semiconductor laser diodes (LDs) as the core components, adopting the TO packaging form commonly used in low-power LD lasers. They feature a compact structure and high stability, providing basic protection for laser output and ensuring long-term operation. All 21 models in the series (such as VLFL-405-PM-FP-80, VLFL-1064-PM-FP-20, etc.) maintain consistent packaging, making them suitable for standardized installation scenarios.
In terms of optical design, all products in the series adopt the integrated single-mode fiber-coupled output form, paired with a adhesive type self-focusing lens. This not only achieves high efficiency in coupling LD laser into single-mode fiber but also makes the output laser conform to the Gaussian spot intensity distribution to the greatest extent, with excellent spot quality. Meanwhile, the fiber type is uniformly polarization maintaining fiber (Polarization Maintaining Fiber), which can effectively maintain the polarization state of the laser, solve the problem of polarization state drift in ordinary fiber transmission, and is suitable for high-precision applications sensitive to polarization.
In terms of technical parameters, the series covers a wavelength range of 405nm-1064nm (including near-ultraviolet, visible light to near-infrared bands), with a continuous output power range of 5mW-100mW (for example, VLFL-670-PM-FP-5 is only 5mW, while VLFL-638-PM-FP-100 reaches 100mW), which can meet the power requirements of different high-precision scenarios. In terms of optical performance, the entire series has an extinction ratio of 16-18dB (ensuring polarization stability), a spectral width of 2.0-3.0nm (high wavelength purity), and a wavelength temperature coefficient of 0.3nm/℃ (small impact of ambient temperature on wavelength), with strong parameter consistency.
In terms of optical fiber parameters, the core diameter is uniformly 3-9μm (typical core diameter of single-mode optical fibers; for example, VLFL-405-PM-FP-80 is 3μm, and VLFL-660-PM-FP-50 is 9μm). The numerical aperture is all 0.12, the fiber length is ≥1m, and the pigtail end supports various connectors such as FC/APC, FC/PC, SMA905/ST/2.5 ferrules, etc. It can be adapted to most fiber flanges, collimating lenses, and focusing lenses, with high flexibility in subsequent supporting configurations.
In terms of electrical performance, the operating voltage range covers 1.55V-8.0V (for example, VLFL-980-PM-FP-20 is only 1.55V, and VLFL-520-PM-FP-80 reaches 8.0V). The threshold current is 12-100mA, and the operating current is 40-320mA, all of which need to be matched with a current source type power supply. Some models (such as VLFL-520-PM-FP-60 and VLFL-638-PM-FP-100) are equipped with PD + pins, supporting power closed-loop control to further improve output stability.
