The CH600S-XY geological stage is designed for the field of geology. It is used to help us better understand our planet and its geology. This product can help researchers study ancient fluids and melts (i.e. fluid inclusions and melt inclusions) sealed in minerals and volatile elements in mineral lattices, and obtain information such as temperature-pressure conditions, fluid chemical composition, fluid sources and evolution in the process of rock formation and mineralization.

The CH600S-XY geological stage uses high thermal conductivity silver material as the heating body, which can quickly reach thermal equilibrium. It uses liquid nitrogen for cooling, and liquid nitrogen is directly injected into the silver heating body to achieve rapid cooling. The continuous change of the phase state of fluid inclusions during heating or freezing can be directly observed. It has been used to characterize various sample types, such as petrographic observation and microthermometry of fluid (melt) inclusions of gangue minerals (quartz, fluorite, calcite, olivine, etc.) and translucent metallic minerals (sphalerite, etc.).

CH600S-XY is compatible with optical microscopes and different spectral techniques, including Raman, FT-IR and X-ray. This product needs to be used with a temperature controller and a refrigeration controller. The accompanying host computer temperature control software facilitates temperature setting and acquisition, and the provided Labview Vis / C# SDK facilitates customized programming by customers.
